ZOO BREW 2026: TROPICAL TAKEOVER
June 13th 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Guests 21 and over are invited to Mesker Park Zoo for an after-hours, wildly popular event featuring tastings of local beers, wines, and other beverages!
This year's Tropical Takeover consists of live music, cooking demonstrations by Big Green Egg, games, food trucks, and areas to hang out and relax. Take a ride on the wildlife carousel. This is the wildest party in town – Tickets are limited, so don’t delay your purchase.
Proceeds directly support the Evansville Zoological Society 501(c)3 and furthers the zoo's mission.
ZOO BREW EXCURSIONS ARE BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
In addition to tasting various beers and wines, you can purchase 1 or ALL 3 of the excursions to add to your experience. General Admission Zoo Brew tickets are required to purchase Excursions.
Spirit Trail through Amazonia
This Excursion is a spirit trail tasting through Amazonia with Hard Truth Distilling Co.
Penguin Excursion (Penguin Feeding & Complimentary Shot)
This Excursion will include a Penguin Feeding followed by an optional complimentary shot provided by Leroy's Tavern.
Giraffe Feeding Excursion (Giraffe Feeding & Complimentary Shot)
This Excursion will include a Giraffe Feeding followed by an optional complimentary shot.

Excursions are extremely limited – Animal excursions have a hard-cut off time of 5:15pm, due to animals not being able to be outside all evening.

- Fill out Registration information for EACH guest you are purchasing tickets for
- Click “Add to cart”
- Finish checking out (if you do not wish to purchase an excursion)
- OR To add an excursion, RETURN to the event page on the website
- Scroll down to "PURCHASE EXCURSION TICKETS"
- Click the excursion you would like to purchase
- Enter quantity in the box and click “Register"
