Camp Zoofari

Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden is THE place for your kids this summer. With our hands-on, interactive, and FUN camps, you can be assured that your kids are making great summer memories—and learning something too!

Camp Zoofari is a full day, full week camp for campers. Children ages 6-10 (as of camp date) AND entering first grade can enroll. Zoofari day camps operate 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and extended care is available before and after camp (7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.).

All Zoofari camps offer a variety of fun and educational activities, and always include exploration through the zoo, animal encounters, hands-on activities, and playtime with friends. Many camps fill, so register early!

DISCOUNTS: A discount is offered to parents / guardians that are Zoo members and City of Evansville / Vanderburgh County employees. Only ONE Discount can be applied. Registrants should be logged into the zoo members website, or membership can be purchased or renewed online PRIOR to registering for camp using the membership form on our website. Employees of the City of Evansville or Vanderburgh County must enter place of employment on the registration form (apply code GO!ZOO). Cancellation Policy

DEADLINE for cancellation: Monday at noon, ONE WEEK PRIOR to the session. The zoo reserves the right to cancel any camp with insufficient registrations or due to unforeseen emergency circumstances. If such events occur, a full refund will be issued.

Confirmation Details

RECEIPT – Upon submission of your registration, you will receive a basic confirmation email that will serve as your receipt. Please save this receipt for tax deduction purposes. MPZBG Tax ID #: 35-6001021

DETAILS – You will receive an email one week prior to the start of camp with all of the pertinent details to prepare your child for camp, and a reminder email the Friday prior to the start of camp. If you do not receive these emails, please call us by the end of the week prior to the week of your camp!
