Camp Zoofari Tween

Camp Zoofari Tween is a special series just for teens ages 11-13 (as of camp date). Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Extended care runs 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Campers will explore the zoo with their peers, interact with zoo animals and staff, and learn more about their world.

Week 3 / June 17-21: Zoo Careers    

Week 7 / July 15-19: Build A Zoo 2.0

Rates:

Full-week camp (5 days): $170

Member & City/County Employee Series Rate: $145 / $161  (15% off)


 

DISCOUNTS:  A discount is offered to parents / guardians that are Zoo members and City of Evansville / Vanderburgh County employees. Registrants should be logged into the zoo members website, or membership can be purchased or renewed online PRIOR to registering for camp using the membership form on our website.  Employees of the City of Evansville or Vanderburgh County must enter place of employment on the registration form.  The regular price rate will display in your cart until discounts are applied UPON CHECKOUT.  Apply code GO!ZOO to the cart at checkout. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY THIS DISCOUNT IF YOU ARE LOGGED IN AS A MEMBER.

DEADLINE for camp registration: Monday at noon, ONE WEEK PRIOR to the first session or when filled.

 

Extras

Camp extras such as a hot lunch, tshirt, or extended care can be purchased using a separate registration form (link on camp website). This will allow registration and payment for these closer to time for camp sessions. DEADLINE for purchase: Monday at noon, ONE WEEK PRIOR to the session.

 

Please note: Camp shirts are no longer required, but can be purchased separately as a souvenir. When ordering shirts, please choose the date of camp on the registration form.

 

Cancellation Policy

DEADLINE for cancellation: Monday at noon, ONE WEEK PRIOR to the session. The zoo reserves the right to cancel any camp with insufficient registrations or due to unforeseen emergency circumstances. If such events occur, a full refund will be issued.

 

Confirmation Details

RECEIPT – Upon submission of your registration, you will receive a basic confirmation email that will serve as your receipt.  Please save this receipt for tax deduction purposes.  MPZBG Tax ID #: 35-6001021

DETAILS – You will receive an email one week prior to the start of camp with all of the pertinent details to prepare your child for camp, and a reminder email the Friday prior to the start of camp.  If you do not get these emails, please call us by the end of the week before camp.

TIPS:

  • Before you begin registration, please log in if you are a member. If you are not logged in, your membership discount will not apply.
  •  
  • Click on "List View" or "Other Dates" to enroll in more than one week of camp on this registration form. Do this BEFORE clicking the green "Register" button.
  •  
  • You can click on "copy information to all registrants" from the first registration entry: or "same as above" on the second registration entry, to autofill entries for multiple sessions / campers.
  •  
  • Use CAMPERS NAME as REGISTRANT.

 

  • When registering for multiple dates, it can be tricky. Tips: 
    1. Start with ONLY the first page of date/location options.  Enter 1 for each date/location. Click on "Register". Enter registration info. Click on "Add to cart".
    2. If you have all the date/locations you need, click on "Checkout".
    3. If you need to register for more dates you will click on "Continue shopping". Go to the second page of date/location options.  Enter 1 for each day/location.  Click on "Register". You can click on the dropdown menu at the top of the data entry form to choose info to autofill. Click on "Add to cart".
    4. Click on "Checkout".  All of them should then be in your cart, and you can check out.
